Richmond VA
Overnight stop in Richmond on our way down to Raleigh was the perfect way to kick off our new adventure! Joe and I are hitting the road, taking a few months to explore America and live in different cities for a month at a time. I’m excited to see where this goes and figure out how I can best share my adventures.
Richmond had a lot of beautiful houses and cute little shops. I was happy to be able to explore it on foot, and take a quick walk with Bear through some of the parks.
One of my favorite stops was visiting The Jefferson Hotel - a historic hotel that is very proud of its history of holding alligators in the main lobby. It was beautiful! If I had more time, and nerve I could have spent a good amount of time exploring it.
One thing about these southern cities is you can always hear the birds and the bugs.
